Universitas Winaya Mukti (UNWIM) is a private university located in Sumedang and Bandung, Indonesia. Established on March 25, 1991, it has a rich history that dates back to the founding of one of Indonesia’s oldest agricultural education institutions.

UNWIM’s origins trace back to the Landbouw Bedrijf School (LBS), founded on November 26, 1914, by the Regent of Sumedang, Pangeran Aria Soeria Atmadja. Over the years, LBS evolved into various educational institutions, including Sekolah Pertanian Menengah Atas (SPMA) and several academies such as Akademi Pertanian Tanjungsari (APT) and Akademi Teknik Pekerjaan Umum (ATPU). In 1991, these institutions were integrated to form Universitas Winaya Mukti.

The name “Winaya Mukti” reflects a commitment to advancing education in harmony with scientific and technological development. The university’s core academic focus is on “BINA IPTEKS BANGUN LINGKUNGAN” (Building the Environment with Science and Technology).
